To select the appropriate 50LF stabiliser for your application:

Determine operating pressure in the range 5 - 35 Pa

Select the flow factor from the table opposite

Divide the flow in m3/s by the flow factor.

Multiply the answer by 320 to give the required total blade size in linear millimetres

Divide the total by 1, 2, 3 or 4 as appropriate to give individual blade size.

Standard blade lengths - 300, 320, 380, 460, 520 or 550 mm.

Example - 0.14 m3/s @ 22 Pa. Flow factor = 0.050 (from table)

0.14/0.050 x 320 = 896 (theoretical length of blade in mm)
As this is greater than the largest single blade, divide by 2 and round up to the nearest standard blade f
rom the blade lengths above, to give a 50LF 460/2 stabiliser (920 mm of blade.)

To select the appropriate 100LF stabiliser for your application:

Determine operating pressure

Select the flow factor from the table opposite

Divide the flow in m3/s by the flow factor

Multiply the answer by 320 to give the required total blade size in linear millimetres

Divide the total by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 as appropriate to give individual blade length.

Example - 0.22 m3/s @ 22 Pa. Flow factor (from table opposite) = 0.089

Formula : 0.22/0.089 x 320 = 791 (theoretical blade length in mm)
As this is greater than the largest single blade, d
ivide by 2 and round up to the nearest standard size which will indicate a
100 LF430/2 stabiliser.
